Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25, 1970) is an American actress. She played Tiffany Wilson, in the comedy film White Chicks Danielle Brooks and Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's House. Anne Dudek, an American actor, is known best for her character Tiffany Wilson in 2004's comedy film White Chicks. She is also popular for her TV roles, including the character Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Dudek is from Massachusetts and went to Northwestern University. Her first performance was as an actor on stage in The Iphigenia Cycle, a production at the university. In New York City, the production was taken off-Broadway where Dudek won the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as an emerging actor to follow. Dudek got roles on TV and on the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress, mother of two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from 2008 to 2016 Dudek was originally was born in Boston Massachusetts, on March 22nd 1975. She was raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton. Dudek was a student at Northwestern University and appeared in a variety of stage performances. Dudek's Broadway debut came in Wrong Mountain on Broadway in 2000. In 2000, her role as The Glass Menagerie won her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. She then appeared on television first starring in the British comedy-drama The Book Group. She has since guest-starred on a number of other TV shows including Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother Friends ER Charmed Bones Numb3rs as well as Six Feet Under. Dudek also played Lucinda Barry on the pilot episode of Psych and later a schoolteacher who is involved in a sexual affair with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek landed her first recurring role in House as Amber Volakis. The character was one of the forty doctors Dr. Gregory House considered for permanent roles on his team. Her character appeared throughout the entire year before she was killed off in final episode of the series, Heart and Head. In the 5th season episode Saviors, House would have returned later in the episode as an illusion. The way she reappeared for the rest the of the Season. Dudek would later appear in Mad Men playing the antagonistic neighbors of Alby grant Francine Hanon. Dudek made her Covert Affairs debut in 2010 as Danielle Brooks' sister. She also played Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor on White Chicks (2004 comedy) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
